The High Temperature type Circulation Fans

  The High Temperature type Circulation Fans is a new kind of fans which has been R&D by our company for annealing furnace, the main furnace roles is in the formation of strong convection circulation, to uniform temperature in the stove, temperatrue controls within ±5℃,so that makes annealing material surface bringt and clean, no Oxidation, and mechanical properties more even.
  The High Temperature type Circulation Fans is researched and developed by our company cooperation with Bar-Iron factory that’s Baoshan Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd. Special Steel Branch. We tested in it’s PHF stove, Achieved the ideal effect. The fans is almost the same as fans import.

3. Service and assembling instructions
3.1 Putting into operation
 First, turn the fan wheel by hand and check if it is tuming free.
 Second, check if the electric distribution cables are connected correctly.
 Third, for checking the right running direction, switch the motor on and off to compare with the direction indicated on the fan housing.
 Fourth, checking the taking of current to avoid overloading. In case of overloading throttle power.
 Fifth, sealed gas and cooling gas 4~6.5 kgf/㎡, should remain normal.

3.2 Maintenance

 First, check the correct fit of all screws, especially the foundation and the fastening screws for the impelle, motor and junctions.
 Second, when vibration dampers are used, check if these can move freely.
 Third, flexible connection parts should also leakproof.
  Fourth, check the constitution of the surface protection. If ti is defective it has to be reparied or to be renewed.
 Fifth, check if the fan runs smoothly and vibration-free. Depositions of dust on the impeller blades may cause unbalance or damage of the bearings. Impeller showing unbalance should be leaned. If affter cleaning unbalance should remain, please consult a specialized service in order to ensure running balance.
 Sixth, to regularly replace bearings.
 Seventh, cleaning is recommended also for accessories such as protection grid and stream-in grids,as well as (if existing ) condesnsed water-discharge.
 Eighth, for the maintenance of the drives please consult the instruction for short—circuited rotors with rolling-contact bearings.

4.Dismounting of the impeller
 The fan-runner is fixed with it’s hub on the motor-shaft or the shaft of the bearing support (depending on the designed type).
 For a better heat protection the fastening screw and the thread for the forcing screw are located in the counterbore of the hub, covered by a shroud plate, within a layer of insulating material.
 After removing the shroud plate for high temperature it will be welded and taking out the fastening screw a forcing screw will be screwed in, to the end face of the counterbore. The fixing of the shaft first should be loosen by turning the forcing screw a few times.
 It should not be tried to take away completely the fan-runner before having remover the fixing screws of the driving-motor. Doing so the cooling fan may be pressed to the rear panel. This may cause damage to the cooling fan.
 After the driving-motor has been taken off, the clamping nut of the cooling fan can be lossend. In most cases the clamping nut and the cooling fan can be pulled off easily from the hub. Otherwise the cooling-fan must be removed by using and extractor.

5.Cooling of the bearings
 The cooling of the bearings is provided by a cooling-fan which is fixed on the extension of the hub or the shaft of the bearing support (depending on the designed type ).
 The effect of the cooling fan is a ventilation which prevents an inadmissible rist of temperature of the motor and of the motor-bearings.
 As this cooling is only effective, if the fan is running, the fan shouldn’t be switched off when the other machinery is stopped, until the temperature in the machinery is under 100℃。
 The operators of the machinery should be instructed that the grease in the bearings will run out or get crusty if the fan is stopped under conditions of heat. The result could be a damage of the bearings.

? In case the fan must be stopped at a temperature over 100℃ the motor should be cooled by a second fan which blows air on the bearing near the motor shaft. This external cooling should start at latest 10 min after stoppage.
